Being of service to others is what brings

true happiness.

Baywide Community Law Service (BWCL) has been offering free legal advice in the Bay of Plenty since July 2005.

We provide our services subject to our Standard Terms of Engagement….
For a printable summary of what we do, you can download our pamphlet here.

There are 27 community law centres throughout New Zealand, including centres that specialise in youth (Youthlaw), disability (Disability Law), and Māori Land (Ngai Tahu). If you are outside our coverage area, we might need to put you in touch with another community law centre.
